A year and a half ago, my newly engaged childhood friend Ashleigh asked me to video her wedding. My initial reaction was to say no.
Even though I was obsessed with film making in high school and then went on to study film and television production at university, since graduating I had always worked in the business side of filmmaking; producing and coordinating. I hadn't filmed or edited anything in years.
But it was an idea I couldn't shake. The more I thought about it, the more my confidence grew, as did my passion with each video project I've work on throughout this last year. Thank you Ashleigh for believing in me long before I believed in myself.
I felt blessed to be have been apart of such a magical day. Salt and Ash's wedding was just as gorgeous as they are and it was easy to capture the loved that filled the day. Not just the love between the beautiful bride and groom but the love of all their family and friends.
P.S: The title animations are my first attempt at Motion Graphics. I couldn't resist using the beautiful graphics from Ash & Salt's invitations, which were designed by our friend Tegan from Jane Doe Design
